Strategy

As a titan unit, War Factory enjoys massively increased combat stats relative to all smaller units. Each of its four cannons has its own separate targeting cone, so unless the Factory is being flanked or beaconed, only two of the four are likely to be active at a time. However, each of these cannons is more powerful than a Fortress’s cannon, so a Factory has no problem taking on two Fortresses at once. If desired, its firepower can be further enhanced with technologies like Range Enhancement and Launcher Overload. Alternatively, chaff clear can be prioritised by purchasing High-Explosive Ammo. Tankiness can be improved with techs like Armor Enhancement and Photon Coating when playing the Factory near the Line. However, the signature ability of the Factory is to produce units with technologies like Phoenix, Sledgehammer, or Steel Ball Production. These units are produced continuously throughout the battle and come with any technologies they have researched. With enough War Factories and production techs, War Factory can eventually overwhelm almost any army in the game with a sea of produced units. War Factory also boasts the most powerful Missile Interceptor technology in the game, if an extreme response to missile-based units is required late in the game.
