Light Anti-Swarm Mech
Hound is a 100-cost short-ranged light unit that specializes in killing other light units, while still functioning as a weak form of chaff or a source of utility.

Increases the units' movement speed by 4 and reduces attack interval by 0.8s

Hound will clear fire, acid and smoke effects on the ground within 40m
Launches 1 Incendiary Bombs every 16s to ignite the ground beneath the enemy's feet. Incendiary Bombs have a max range of 160m and a minimum range of 40m.
Increases HP by 20%, and blocks 60 damage when attacked. The damage blocking effect increases with the Rank. And for each Rank, blocks an additional 60 damage.
During battle, Hound's ATK increases by 35% per second. This bonus resets after attacking.
Strategy
Compared to other chaff clear units, hound needs levels or technologies to serve any useful role past the first few rounds of the game. However, its pack size can make it tricky to kill once scaled, whilst allowing it to rapidly take care of enemy chaff. Range Enhancement is an easy pick-up in the early game to increase hound’s survivability whilst letting it farm experience. Mechanical Rage can drastically improve the clearing speed during the midgame and even contribute some DPS. Alternatively, hounds can be set up with more supportive techs. Incendiary Bomb is a cheap way to allow low level hounds to clear enemy chaff without needing levels. Fire Extinguisher provides a unique source of counterplay against ground-based fire, smoke, or acid. And Armor Enhancement can be a great counter to enemy chaff clear with low ATK, such as Fire Badgers, Mustangs or Vulcan.
