Strategy

Among all 100-cost units, arclight is the best chaff clear unit for medium to long-range fights. It has no chaff clear weaknesses in the early and mid game, with solid scaling options for the late game. After researching Range Enhancement, 5-7 arclights can effectively clear chaff alone throughout most games. Elite Marksman and Electromagnetic Shot are great follow-up techs to keep scaling in long Range Enhancement matchups. Charged Shot can be a great option against boards with a lot of mid-sized units (i.e. sledgehammers & Steel Balls), while Anti-Aircraft Ammunition is a niche tech that allows Arclights to help against aerial enemies. For the aggressive players, Armor Enhancement is a great tempo option against low DPS boards, such as Fire Badgers and Mustangs.
