Strategy
Section titled “Strategy”Giant Specialist works best when utilizing early-game giants to win tempo and gets the most value in armies featuring at least 2 different types of giant units. Starting units such as Marksman, Sledgehammer, Fire Badger and Mustang are ideal, as they tend to support most giants well. The strength of Giant Specialist is rather meta and context-dependent. If giants are weak in the meta or the game does not present strong opportunities to use giants, then Giant Specialist becomes weak. Because unlocked giant units cannot show up in unit reinforcements, Giant Specialist does have the unique ability to use their unit unlock for the turn to block a giant unit from future reinforcements (Aerial Specialist can do the same for aerial units).
