Flanks

Flanks are a deployable area to the sides of the battlefield, where units may be positioned from round 2 onwards. They offer a lot of strategic opportunities for aggressive (counter)play, in an attempt to destroy enemy towers.

  • Units will take 10s to spawn on a flank the first round they are deployed (5s with the ‘Quick Teleport’ card)

  • After spawning in, units can be moved freely on a flank with Jump Drive, Redeploy or Deployment Module without needing to respawn 

  • Flanks are difficult to defend for the attacker, so they should not be overinvested in

  • Flanks can be used to pull enemy units away and expose the tower, making it vulnerable to a frontal attack

  • If flanks are not properly defended, an air unit such as the Phoenix can yield a tower debuff when paired with the Mobile Beacon
