Buffs, Debuffs & Items
There are many ways to enhance and debuff units in Mechabellum, but how they interact may differ. Understanding how these work can inform you about whether it is worth going for a buff or item and where to place it.

Stat buffs are additive, which means that adding a small ATK buff to a big ATK buff will not be that noticeable.

Debuffs are multiplicative, to prevent any stat from ever reaching zero. Stacking debuffs will thus be less significant.

Cost Control + Mass Produced Fortress = 0.89 x 0.6 = 0.58

ATK buffs from the Research Center will not affect unit techs such as Fortress ‘Anti-Air Barrage’ and Overlord ‘Overlord Artillery’

Enhanced Range from the Command Center will affect unit techs, but any other source of bonus range will not (i.e. Laser Sight, Advanced Targeting System)

Items that buff ATK, such as Haste Module, will affect unit techs

If a unit tech and an item have the same effect, they will not stack and the item will be prioritised
